Coaching, the Principle of Utilization

Coaching, the Principle of Utilization

Amongst the several coaching tasks, the main one, motivate people and/or business help the quickest solution, the principle of utilization is a strong ally. Put it simply, the principle of utilization means to utilize parts, tools, processes and suggestions coming from the client, reframing them. All of this allows things to be settled down in the least possible time and in the best way, saving time and improving the efficiency of the final result.

Whoever has experience in problem solving, either as a discipline or for personally working out several situations, knows the verbalization and the statement of the “problem” already features the easiest, quickest and efficient solution. Oftentimes, though, it gets unnoticed or, considered a matrix of the problem itself, treated as a leper. Actually, if properly used, such statement offers an important point to be used as a lever.

The statement of the problem has the best solution within. What a coach has to accomplish is motivate the client, either a business, an individual or a company. Thus, the client will be encouraged and stimulated to engage in certain actions and choices, reinforcing confidence in herself and her resources. What, in the last resort, a coach and a mentor must be is an awakener of both an attitude or a potential which had been dormant in his/her client for too long a time.
